Overall

4.1
Strengths
Three sizes of the acornshaped diamonds. While the two original sizes are optimal on medium to large restorations, the extra small size is terrific for the more conservative ones. Having the two rubber finishing instruments for polishing is also a nice bonus.

Weaknesses
Our polishing tests have found that polishing brushes are more effective on occlusal surfaces compared to rubber points. 30-fluted finishing burs do not cut as effectively as those with fewer flutes. And the small, thin needle diamond is too coarse to be considered for finishing purposes.

BOTTOM LINE
Still are the best for contouring occlusal form in posterior composites.
