Strengths
Six sizes, plain or with epinephrine. Easy to place - one evaluator attributed this feature to its elasticity. One evaluator found that it is a good carrier for your own hemostatic solution. Very effective retraction. One evaluator found it less likely to be pulled out of the sulcus if you accidentally snag it with a diamond. New cutting blade inside flip top is a great convenience item and cuts the cord very cleanly.
Weaknesses
Has a slight tendency to fray and stay in sulcus, which can interfere with impression accuracy. Another evaluator did not find it to be as absorbent as other cords when it comes to hemostatic solutions. Labels not moisture-resistant.
