Strengths
The weave pattern provides predictability. Thinness makes it more manageable. Easier to handle and place most of the time. Wetting resin and securing composite are nice conveniences and eliminate the uncertainty of employing other materials that could negatively affect placement procedures. Four widths. Weaknesses
Can't touch until it is coated with resin. Must be cut with special scissors. Only enough securing composite for one or two splints. Comes in strips rather than spools. A chair-side flow chart could be helpful.
