Strengths
Makes extruding thick composites as easy as possible. Fits virtually all tips. Easy loading and unloading. Very robust construction improves control. Feels good in your hand due to rounded edges and overall design.
Weaknesses
Some operators may find the spring-loaded ring difficult to retract and if you are not careful, your fingers could get pinched between the lever action of the trigger and the stationary section of the hand grip. Could be too large and/or heavy for small hands. One evaluator found that it sometimes slightly hangs up on the end of the tip when first advanced. Another evaluator reported that various tips occasionally popped out during use. Pricey.
