Colorbite D
Overall
4.1
Strengths
Color change to indicate set was considered to be a nice feature by virtually all the evaluators. All the evaluators also considered the viscosity satisfactory and it doesn't slide off teeth after placement. Most evaluators felt it could be used for full arches. Scored very hard in our 24-hour hardness test
Weaknesses
While most evaluators did not consider it to be particularly brittle, a sizable minority felt it tended to break when removing it from undercuts or during trimming. One evaluator did not think it could be used for full arches.
BOTTOM LINE
Color change, great viscosity, and very hard set are nice attributes along with the non-offensive taste and smell, but watch for brittleness when removing it from the mouth or during trimming.
