Hans Malmstrom, D.D.S.

Dr. Malmstrom received his DDS from University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 1981. He worked one year in the Swedish Public Health service and then enrolled in a two-year General Practice residency program in Connecticut, which he completed in 1984. Upon graduation from his residency program, he accepted a faculty position at Emory University in Atlanta, where he was the Chair for the Department of General Dentistry and program director for GPR and AEGD residency training programs. Dr. Malmstrom has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals, is involved in clinical and translational research and has lectured nationally and internationally. He is a member of the International Association for Dental Research, American Dental Education Association, Academy of Osseo-Integration, Commission of Dental Accreditation and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Malmstrom is the Chair for Division of General Dentistry, Program Director for the Advanced Education of General Dentistry program and Director of Continuing Dental Education at Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), University of Rochester, in Rochester New York, where he also maintains a faculty practice.
