Gary Henkel, DDS

Dr. Henkel received his DDS from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in Detroit, Michigan in 1979 and completed his post doctoral training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in General Dentistry in 1981. Dr. Henkel received his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1986. He has held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania as well as Thomas Jefferson University. He holds appointments at several Philadelphia area hospitals and has published in several peer reviewed journals as well as contributing to an oral surgery text on the topic of oral electrical burns. Dr. Henkel serves as a consultant to several dental manufacturers in the areas of endodontics, cone beam tomography, and operative dentistry. He recently completed a comprehensive study for Cadent Corporation, was instrumental in the development of the iTero digital impression system, and will be conducting an FDA trial for an orthodontic weight loss device. He also teaches oral implantology for Osstem, Inc. and is active in the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. Dr. Henkel maintains a practice in Horsham, PA.
